Head Cinematographer + Editer / Photographer

Hello! I’m Chris Shepherd and I am a videographer and editor for Loyd’s Photography & Video. I was born and raised in Albuquerque NM and have lived in Houston for a short time. My love and passion is art, entertainment and film. My dream was awakened at about 15 years old with a Handycam and windows movie maker; as my love for the industry grew I worked alongside of several mentors in video production learning everything I could.  I recently completed my degree in Commercial Art and still learn so much everyday working with the crew here. I am getting to “play” with equipment that is the envy of this industry, and love every second. I am pumped to see Loyd’s transition to high definition and constantly pushing our style with everything we produce. We are taking this thing to a new level and it truly pushes me harder every time I see emotions touched by a film.
