I was born and raised in Houston, Texas & in the office of Loyd's Photography & Video. Being the son of Loyd Overcash (Founder) makes it hard to stay away from the photography industry. Growing up I never expected to take over the family business. Actually I did not have an interest for photography at the time. Becoming a teenager I tried all sorts of jobs. I had the opportunity to work at IAH in the cargo department. After years on a forklift and some serious thought, I decided to try a career working at Loyd's Photography & Video. Starting on the weekends posing and toting equipment at weddings, I started to find a love for capturing imagery that would stay with families a lifetime. I have come a long way since I started working here. When I started I had to start from the bottom of the chain. The most luxurious job in companies, trash duty!!!! Then I became in charge of the portrait department. After shooting portraits & weddings for 3-4 years I decided to try something new. That brings me to where I am today, shooting weddings and tuning my skills in cinematics. I have found the career I feel the good Lord has called me to do. It is a gift and a love for high end imagery & cinematics that only I could have been blessed with. I am living a dream I never knew I had. Gaining relationships that will last a lifetime and working with all of our most awesome clients, who could ask for anything more. Surrounded by the best employees that I could have ever prayed for is what has put my skills & my company where thay are today. We push each other to make every aspect of our artistic abilities better each time we pick up a camera.
